Stary Browar — 3D Wayfinding Kiosks
Interactive 3D wayfinding kiosks guiding visitors through a historic shopping centre — in daily use since 2017.

Overview
A wayfinding system for Stary Browar in Poznań — an award-winning shopping centre set in a historic brewery. Touch-screen kiosks (Wayfinder) placed along the main walkways let visitors search over 170 shops and services by name, category or level, then display a point-to-point route through the building on an interactive 3D map. I built the entire system single-handedly: the full 3D model of the centre, the map, and the kiosk application itself.
The Challenge
Stary Browar's charm is also its navigation problem: a historic, multi-level brewery layout with over 170 shops and service points spread across atria, passages and wings. The 3D map had to be faithful enough that visitors instantly recognise where they are, and the app had to run unattended on public touch kiosks, day after day, for years.
The Solution
Modelled the entire centre in 3D — the brick passages, atria and gallery levels — and built the kiosk application in Unity on top of it. Visitors search by shop name, category or floor; the system computes a point-to-point route and presents it on the map. The application runs unattended on multimedia kiosks distributed along the main circulation routes.
