DESIGN3R — Furniture Arrangement in VR & AR
Arrange real catalogue furniture in a virtual room in VR — or drop it true-to-scale into your own home in AR.

Overview
A furniture arrangement system built around a real manufacturer catalogue. In the VR app (HTC Vive), users walk a virtual room and furnish it hands-on: a radial menu on the motion controller browses whole product lines, pieces are placed and moved naturally, live dimensions appear as you work, and wood finishes swap instantly. A companion mobile app carries the same catalogue in your pocket — every product card opens in AR, placing the piece true-to-scale in the customer's own interior.
The Challenge
Furniture is bought on faith: will that desk fit the alcove, will the dark oak match the floor? Static catalogue photos answer neither question. The goal was to let customers experience real catalogue products — correct sizes, correct materials — in a room, before anything is manufactured or shipped.
The Solution
Two complementary experiences on one product catalogue. In VR, a room-scale planner with controller-native interaction: radial catalogue menu, laser-pointer placement, live edge dimensions and one-tap material swaps. On mobile, the catalogue becomes an AR viewer — pick a product, point the phone, and see it standing in the actual room at real scale. Photoreal interior walkthroughs rendered from the same assets round out the pitch.
